West Side Happy Hour [OUWC]

The OU Women's Club says: We're all getting tired of snow, sleet, rain, and gloomy skies, so let's get together for drinks, food, and chat to brighten our day!  Join us at the Bonefish Grill in Westlake on March 22 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.  RSVP to Carol Hacker (cjhacker@sbcglobal.net) or Annmarie Pelles (alpelles@aol.com) by March 19.

Postcard Project

Undergraduate Admissions is seeking alumni volunteers for its annual postcard project. Through this campaign, alumni write short notes to congratulate 10 newly admitted students.  Most students are exploring other universities as well, and a postcard from a friendly OHIO alumnus can make a difference!
Volunteers will be provided with postcards, postage, contact information, and suggested language for the notes. This is a fun and easy way to give back to the university, and more information about the project is available here:  https://www.ohio.edu/admissions/vaan/postcards.cfm
To register, complete the online form here. When you sign up, please indicate that you are participating on behalf of the Greater Cleveland chapter of the OUAA.  The deadline to register is March 30.

April Events

Bobcat Caravan

The annual Bobcat Caravan comes to the Harry Buffalo in downtown Cleveland on April 10, at 5:30 p.m. Meet OHIO coaches and administrators, enjoy free food, win prizes, and more!
There is no better opportunity to meet coaches face to face, spend time with Bobcat Nation, and get the inside information on OHIO Athletics. Get more details and RSVP for this free event here.

Karamu Theater Outing [EBN]

The Ebony Bobcat Network is presenting the play The Adventures of the Black Girl in Her Search for God at the historic Karamu Theater on April 13, at 7:30 p.m. A pre-performance reception is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The play, based on George Bernard Shaw's short story and written by Lisa Codrington, follows a young African girl who is abandoned by a white missionary for asking too many questions about God. Taking matters into her own hands, she sets off on her own to find out who -- or what -- God really is. This venture leads her into some pretty interesting experiences.
Tickets are $40, and proceeds will benefit the group's scholarship for students at Ohio University.
Online registration is available through the Ohio Alumni Association: Ohio.edu/Alumni
